Met Eireann warns of possible localised flooding

Met Eireann has issued a rainfall alert and warned of possible localised flooding today.

The status yellow rainfall warning was issued for Connacht, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford

Met Eireann has warned of “heavy thundery downpours could lead to rainfall accumulations of 20 to 30mm and localised flooding this afternoon and early evening.”

The warning is in place from 2pm until 8pm this evening.
