Limerick to host Coolderry's semi final clash with Gort
Coolderry's All-Ireland club senior hurling semi-final against Galway champions Gort will be played in the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick, on Saturday, February 11 (throw-in: 2pm). Coolderry defeated Oulart the Ballagh of Wexford to win their first Leinster title last November and now the Offaly champions are just one victory away from an All-Ireland final appearance. Ken Hogan's charges defeated local rivals Birr in the Offaly county final and got the better of Ballyboden St Enda's (Dublin) in the Leinster semi-finals, before overcoming Wexford champions Oulart in the decider. The other All-Ireland semi-final is between Antrim's Loughgiel Shamrocks and Na Piarsaigh of Limerick. And it will be played in Parnell Park, Dublin (2pm), on the same day as the Coolderry v Gort clash. The battle for the 2012 All-Ireland club senior hurling title is remarkably open and the only team left standing to previously win the Tommy Moore Cup is Loughgiel . The Antrim club defeated St Rynagh's of Offaly in the 1983 decider. Meanwhile, the two All-Ireland Club SFC semi-finals will both be played in the midlands, with Longford's Pearse Park hosting the clash of neighbours Garrycastle (Westmeath) and St Brigid's (Roscommon), and Portlaoise the venue for the meeting of defending champions Crossmaglen Rangers (Armagh) and Dr Crokes of Kerry. Both those ties take place on Saturday, February 18. O'Connor Park in Tullamore will host the All-Ireland Club IFC semi-final between Davitts (Mayo) and Eire "g (Wicklow) on January 22.
