Walterstown won the MFL Div 2 Shield when they defeated St Vincents/Curraha earlier this year.

Na Fianna's first-half exertions took too much out of them as they faded in the second period and slumped to a disappointing MFL Div 1 defeat away to Dunshaughlin on Wednesday last.
The visitors raced into a 0-8 to 0-1 lead after 20 minutes courtesy of Daniel Queeney, Sean O'Neill, Lewis Dowling and John Collins, but Dunshaughlin finished the half with a flourish to lead by 1-6 to 0-8 at the break.
Na Fianna managed just 1-1 after the resumption, with Queeney netting from a late penalty to offer scant consolation.

Forced to field without their St Patrick's CS, Navan's contingent, Simonstown were no match for visitors Donaghmore/Ashbourne.
The visitors led by 0-5 to 0-3 at the break and made full use of their second-half wind advantage. Robbie Burlingham, Niall Coughlan, Christopher Hand and Niall O'Mahony were best for Simonstown.

Hosts Skryne opened with a narrow win over an excellent Ballinlough/Inny Gaels combination.
The opening half was a high-scoring affair and ended on level terms, 3-4 to 1-10 and after the break the teams also managed seven scores apiece.
However, Ian Gillette's goal gave the Tara side the verdict.

Dunboyne produced a remarkable turnaround in fortunes as they reversed a 0-1 to 0-8 interval deficit to score an impressive victory over St Finian's, a combination of Longwood, Ballivor and Kildalkey, in Longwood on Wednesday last.
Shane McEntee, Cathal Finn, Andrew McWeeney, Niall Carolan and Niall Connellan were best for the winners.

Barry Yourell accounted for half of Summerhill's tally as they disposed of St Vincent's/Curraha. After a low scoring opening period during which the side's shared four points it was Summerhill that pulled clear. Liam Hogan, Martin Fox and Neil Shorthall were best for St Vincent's/Curraha.

Caoimhin O Griofa made it a La Feile na Phadraig to be proud of as he grabbed a hat-trick of goals to inspire Clann na nGael to an impressive MFL Div 3 victory over Duleek/Bellewstown.
The winners played with the aid of a strong wind in the opening period, but only led by 1-5 to 0-6 at the break. However, after the resumption they netted five times with Ryan Nugent, David Smith, Colm Carney and Shane Doherty also impressing.

Dunderry were too strong for Drumconrath/Meath Hill in their MFL Div 4 encounter which was played at Bective.
Drumconrath/Meath Hill were left to rue Eoin Martin's disallowed 'goal' as Dunderry took a 1-6 to 0-3 interval lead and sealed the win with a second-half goal.

Clonard got their campaign off to a winning start as they edged out Walterstown with a strong display which produced three goals from Darren McNevin and some fine saves by Cormac Fitzsimons.

Despite Charles Brogan's last minute penalty goal Carnaross lost to Rathkenny who started brightly with an early goal and led by 1-4 to 0-4 at the break. They stretched that lead after the resumption.
