€7m price tag on Kilroy"s Tullamore site

Kilroys in High Street, Tullamore is for sale with a price tag of €7m and is being sold as a potential site for the construction of 244 apartments. On sale through Property Partners Richard Cleary, the site is described as 'ripe for redevelopment and offers the eventual purchaser the opportunity to develop a scheme of multi-storey apartments to the rear (current estimation 244 apartments) while retaining and extending the retailing use to front of the premises, subject to planning permission.' Covering a total of 0.6 of an acre, the 1,502 square meter building comes with a 0.42 acres of land at the rear of the premises. Potential buyers are informed of the popularity of town centre apartments and the 'unrivalled location within the town' of the site.
