Fashion Tempest ahead in Tullamore as store nears

In two weeks time the doors to Tullamore"s newest shopping venture will open. A new 20,000 square foot fashion and home store is being developed by Menarys and Tempest in # 1 Church Street and is due to open on Friday November 14. Menarys is a long and well-established department store group which was founded in 1923 in Tyrone. It will provide a stunning range of top fashion brands including Esprit, Bianca, Avalon, Steilmann, Gelco and Regatta. To complement the range of ladies fashions, there will be a number of in-store shops including Alex & Co, Eastex, and Dash. Menarys will also offer an assortment of homewares. 'Our aim is to create a store that in terms of design, environment and product range will see Menarys become Tullamore"s premiere department store, and will offer a pleasurable experience to our customers. This is an exciting development, and with Menarys trading alongside Galvins, Dunnes Stores and others, will see the continuing improvement of the retail offer in Tullamore,' said Philip McCammon, Menarys" Director. Over the last eight years, Menarys have developed Tempest, an exciting concept in young fashion retail. Tempest is essentially a one-stop fashion shop for 15 to 30 year old females. There are nine existing Tempest stores throughout Ireland. In-store shops will include A|Wear, Warehouse, Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Jane Norman, Bay Trading, Fuse, Exhibit, Barratts Shoes and Fusion Accessories and Denim. To celebrate the launch, lucky shoppers will have chance to win €1,000 in Gift Vouchers, with nibbles and free giveaways all weekend from November 14.
