The drive-in of Captains Frank and Carmel is coming up on Sunday 15th March at 5pm. Speculation mounts on whether they will come by helicopter, parachute or asal agus cairt. Frank remains tight lipped. This will be preceded by a scramble at 1.30pm. Please put your name on the list as a draw will be made for partners for the 3 ball scramble at 12.30pm. Tee times 1 to 1.30pm on Sunday 15th . Joan Murphy and Regina O"Regan got off to a good start in the Daily Mail challenge four ball better ball when they defeated the Tullamore pairing. Esker were fortunate in having home advantage. The final of the Winter League was played last Sunday. Dave Reynolds" team played Sean Berry"s team. Joan Murphy continued her good form in winning the first match. Dave Reynolds beat Brian McDermott on 19th. Captain Frank Ryan beat Michael White on 16th. B. Kennedy used his shots to his advantage in beating Sean Berry. Alan Lowry of Sean Berry"s team beat Paul Stewart. The victorious team was the Dave Reynolds team which includes Captain Frank.
