O'Gorman visits Clara

Paddy O'Gorman visits Clara market this weekend as part of his ongoing series O'Gorman. The programme on RTE One will be broadcast on Sunday next at 7.30pm This week finds Paddy at a Clara and a food market in Cork where he hears stories of recession and reality as people try to raise money by selling their belongings or buy fresh food as they return to cooking at home to replace that night out in a fancy restaurant. Paddy discovers that despite the new car trade being in a slump, car auction houses are thriving. Sales in repossessions and second hand cars are going through the roof.
