Gardai appeal for help after shots fired in Cappincur

Gardai in Tullamore are appealing for witnesses after a number of shots were fired in the Cappincur area last Thursday week. According to Sergeant Ollie Baker the shots were fired between approximately 10pm and 10.30pm on the night of October 6 near a house in the area. A car parked outside the house was damaged in the incident according to Sgt Baker. However no person was injured. Gardai are now looking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Ballinagar or Cappincur area on the night or the days leading up to it to contact them on 057 9327601.
