1life benefit night in Edenderry on Friday

A benefit night for 1life - a 24 hour suicide prevention helpline and text message service - will be held tonight (Friday, May 4) in Finbarr Cullen's in Edenderry from 9pm. Tonight's benefit night has been organised by local woman Deborah Hoey, with help from Offaly Local Development Company, 1life, Console and Churchview Heights Residents Association. Prizes at tonight's event will include vouchers and products donated by local businesses. Music will be provided by a host of local bands, while the venue for the night has also been kindly donated along with food. Tickets for tonight's event are priced at just €5 and are available on the door.
