Castlepalooza takes place over the August bank holiday weekend and has fixed itself as a boutique favourite amongst festival goers. For the first time this year the festival has asked Irish acts to apply to perform at the festival, and an original commitment of four performance slots has been increased to 13 due to the number and quality of applications received. The 13 successful Irish acts to perform at Castlepalooza have been confirmd as Benny Smiles, Cars Love Girls, Cry Monster Cry, Grand Pocket Orchestra, Kammerpop, Last Days of 1984, Lights Camera Sundown, Little Xs for Eyes, Mrs Healy's First Class Choir, Owensie, Roisin O, The Statics and White Collar Boy. The festival will also include free workshops, an art contest, a film showcase and a spa. Tickets for the festival are priced at €85 for three days including camping, €65 for three days without camping and €35 for Sunday with no camping.
