Offaly house sought as main film location

A production company is looking to secure an Offaly house to act as the main location for a new Irish feature film. The house should be in an isolated area and ideally near water. Unusual, period or heritage houses would also be favourable. The chosen house will have an important part to play in the film "Frank", which is about an enthusiastic but not that good bunch of musicians who attempt to write their first album. The successful house would be required for filming for four weeks towards the end of this year and into January, with a further six weeks of work then taking place within the region to set up and complete the project. As the film is funded by the Irish Film Board there will be a fee for the property owners. If you know of a house or live in such a house you should email a jpg image of it to arts@offalycoco.ie by Monday next, August 13. All images will be sent to the production company for consideration.
