Two men due in court over offaly drug seizures

Two men are due before Tullamore District Court this morning in relation to the seizure of cannabis valued at €410,000 in Offaly on Wednesday and Thursday.

The men, who are aged 26 and 30, are due to appear before a special sitting of Tullamore District Court this morning at 11am.

The drugs seizures were made during searches of properties and a vehicle in Edenderry and Tullamore on Wednesday and Thursday.

The two men were arrested and detained at Tullamore Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
