Garda appeal after 100 livestock stolen in co westmeath

Gardaí are appealing for information after 75 cattle and 25 sheep were stolen in Co Westmeath.

The theft occurred between 9pm on Wednesday, June 24 and 1.15pm Thursday, June 25 from lands at Cornaher, Kilbeggan. The land is situated close to the N6, Old Dublin Road between Kilbeggan and Tyrrellspass.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Athlone Garda Station at 090 6498550, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
