BREAKING: Verdict in Bernadette Scully trial
A Tullamore doctor has been found not guilty of the manslaughter of her profoundly disabled daughter.
Bernadette Scully (58) had pleaded not guilty to unlawfully killing 11-year-old Emily Barut at their home at Emvale, Bachelor’s Walk, Tullamore on Saturday September 15th, 2012.
A jury has now found her not guilty by a unanimous verdict at the Central Criminal Court this morning.
