A Pantomime for all the family, Sleeping Beauty is a classic fairy tale about a beautiful Princess, an enchanted spinning wheel and a handsome Prince. The legend that transcends time begins with a christening, a jealous fairy called Magnificent and her evil spell at the Princess’s birthday party. But there to help is Dame Dolly Dollard, the Duchess of Dishwater and her “friends”! A Pantomime full of fun, song, dance and romance all spin together in Coolmine Panto Group’s spectacular production.

Gladys Coyle – Director / Musical Director

Gladys has been involved with Coolmine Panto Group since 1982. She played leading roles in the panto for many years before being persuaded to take on the role of Director.
I fell in love with panto as a child going to see Jack Cruise in the Olympia and Maureen Potter in the Gaiety. I believe to really enjoy panto you must let loose your inner child! We have a wonderful camaraderie between all the children and adults in the cast, the backstage crew and the committee, which makes the panto a fun time for all involved.’
Gladys Coyle, Director / Musical Director, Coolmine Panto Group

Gladys performed in over 100 musicals with various musical societies in Dublin but principally with O’Connell Musical Society and Coolmine Musical Society.
