Plans for Offaly’s newest skate park revealed

Edenderry Skate Park Committee has applied for planning permission to develop a concrete skate park at Blundell Park in Edenderry.

The development will consist of the 51m x 14m skate park and appropriate fencing, which will be located between Blundell Wood and Church View Heights.

The application was submitted on October 18 and is currently being examined by Offaly County Council's planning staff. A decision is due by 12 December.

Offaly currently has two skate parks,one in Tullamore and one in Birr. A submission or observation in relation to the application can be made in writing to the Planning Authority upon payment of a €20 fee, within 5 weeks of receipt of the application.
