Scoil Mhuire 5th and 6th class at the Junior Entrepreneur showcase in RDS Simmonscourt

Scoil Mhuire students shine at Junior Entrepreneur showcase

The students of Scoil Mhuire are still reliving the incredible experience of their very first Junior Entrepreneur Programme Showcase, which was held in the RDS Simmonscourt Dublin this May.

The students of both 5th and 6th class created products that resulted in them being shortlisted as Creative Pioneers and therefore were invited to take part in the JEP Showcase hosted by Marty Morrissey - a highlight in itself for some students!

The students had the most wonderful time, presenting their products Fabulous Folder and Phozie at this year’s exhibition.

The Junior Entrepreneur programme is now in its ninth year and encourages students at the primary school level to dabble in all aspects of business life – from creative concepts to sales and marketing.

The experience opens their eyes to endless possibilities, whilst putting their everyday mathematical and oral language skills to use in a real-life situation.

Scoil Mhuire is already looking forward to plotting business ideas for next year - watch out Richard Branson!
