Crucial Ireland soccer play-off will be held behind closed doors
The Republic of Ireland’s UEFA EURO 2020 Play-Off against Slovakia on March 26 is the latest sporting fixture that will be held behind closed doors, due to the Coronavirus.
The FAI announced today (Tuesday) that the match "will be played behind closed doors on the instruction of the Slovakian government."
The decision was relayed to the FAI by the Slovakian FA following a directive from their government.
The FAI said all fans who purchased tickets for the game in Bratislava would be refunded. Supporters with queries about refunds are asked to contact: customer-relations@fai.ie
