Presenter Karen O'Donohoe meets Sharon Greene of the Wild Irish Foragers in Offaly.

Offaly food business to feature on RTE series

A popular food programme will showcase an Offaly business next week.
Grow Cook Eat, is back for a third series aimed at helping people with little or no knowledge of growing their own food, but who like the idea of being able to grow something themselves.

The second programme in this year's series sees presenter Karen O’Donohoe visits Offaly to see what nature is growing by itself - picking blackberries, rosehips and much more with Wild Irish Foragers, but leaving plenty behind for the birds and bees.
This edition will be broadcast on RTE One on Wednesday, March 25, at 7.30pm.

Wild Offaly Foragers are based in Shinrone. Using old almost forgotten recipes they strive to create "Tastes of the Past" from the handpicked wild bounty. All products are handmade in small batches to ensure they capture that magical taste of a bygone era.
