Killeigh soccer club receives prestigious FAI award

Killeigh Schoolboys & Girls Soccer Club has been awarded the FAI Club Mark award.

In a message posted online, the Offaly club said it was "delighted" to receive the award.

"To date, this prestigious award has only been granted to 33 clubs in all of Ireland," said a spokesperson for the club.

"This award acknowledges best practice in our governance, management and administration of all activities within our club, and recognises that the strong structures our club have in place ensure that we are best placed to promote football and player development at grassroots level."
