Natalee is new Principal of Cappagh NS

It was a case of "new beginnings" for the pupils and staff at Cappagh NS today (Monday) as Tullamore native and stalwart member of Tullamore Musical Society, Natalee Kelly, received a warm welcome as she began her tenure as Principal.

Natalee, who is daughter of Eugene and June Kelly, made her own little bit of history when she stepped into her new role, as she is the first female Principal of the school since it opened in 1975. She is the fifth person to take the helm as Principal.

Mrs Mary O’Donoghue (Cappagh Board of Management) welcomed Natalee Kelly saying her time as Deputy Principal of Schoil Bhride Tullamore will serve her well as she takes up her new position in Cappagh. With seven staff members and over 120 pupils, Natalee is wished all the best from staff and pupils alike as Mrs O’Donoghue handed over the keys to the school in an appropriately socially-distanced ceremony in the school grounds.
