Drugs worth €11k seized over the last week
Over €11,000 worth of drugs have been seized in raids in Laois/Offaly over the last week.
A post on the Garda Síochána Laois Offaly Facebook page today has confirmed that cocaine worth €4,400, cannabis with a street value of €7,000, and sums of cash were discovered in Tullamore, Birr and Clonaslee in recent days.
“This is part of our commitment to disrupt the sale and supply of drugs in our communities and to tackle anti social behaviour,” the message on social media stated.
The post doesn't indicate whether there was any arrests in relation to the seizures.
