13 patients on trolleys in local hospital

There are 13 patients being treated on trolleys today at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.

According to the INMO's Trolley Watch survey, the 13 patients are on trolleys in the hospital's Emergency Department this morning.

Nationally, there are 252 people being treated on trolleys this morning, 211 in EDs and 39 on trolleys in wards. The hospital with the highest number of patients on trolleys today is University Hospital Limerick, where there are 46, followed by Cork (41) and then Mullingar 27). There are two patients on trolleys in Portlaoie hospital and one patient on a trolley in the ED at Portiuncula hospital in Ballinasloe.
