25 new COVID-19 cases in Offaly

There have been 25 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Offaly during Saturday.

The new cases bring the total number of cases in Offaly since the pandemic began to 911.

The 25 new cases in Offaly are among 1,283 confirmed nationally by midnight Monday.

There has also been three additional deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the total of COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland to 1,852

As of midnight Saturday, another 1,283 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported. There is now a total of 49,962 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

Of the 1,283 cases notified, the median age is 31 years old.

408 of the cases were in Dublin, 156 in Cork, 88 in Kildare, 80 in Meath, 55 in Limerick and the remaining 496 cases were spread across 21 counties.

As of 2pm Sunday 277 COVID-19 patients were hospitalised, of which 33 were in ICU. There were 17 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
