Major drugs seizure this week in Offaly following searches
Drugs worth an estimated €31,000 have been discovered in Offaly following two searches this week.
Offaly Garda Drugs Unit searched houses in Kilcormac and Birr town Wednesday resulting in the seizure of cannabis with an estimated value of €13,000, and heroin with an estimated value of €18,000.
"A male was arrested and is charged before the courts," the post on Garda Síochána Laois Offaly Facebook page indicated.
