Line-up announced for Late Late Show country music special

The 'First Lady of Country Music', Dolly Parton, is among the stars set to appear on a Late Late Show country music Christmas special which will be broadcast tomorrow (Friday) night.

In an interview with Ryan, Dolly will be speaking about the profound influence of her parents on her music, and the highs and lows of her illustrious career.

She will also discuss writing classics such as I Will Always Love You, and her enduring friendship with Irish country star, Margo.

The show will also feature the biggest stars of the Irish country music scene, including Daniel O'Donnell, Nathan Carter, Philomena Begley, Cliona Hagan and Una Healy.

It promises to bring Irish country music fans, who have been missing live performances this year, an evening of toe-stomping music and chat.

The programme will be broadcast on RTÉ One from 9.35pm this Friday.
