Shannonbridge quartet record video to raise Hospice funds

With Covid-19 severely restricting the ability of charities to raise funds this year, the intrepid members of the Shannonbridge Carol Singers have had to get creative in an effort to continue raising funds for the Offaly Hospice Foundation, which they have been doing for the past 19 years.

The quartet of singers, Johnny Deeley, Sean Kelly, Kieran Coakley and Mick Kitt, have raised over €9,000 for Offaly Hospice to date, and this year they have recorded a short video to continue with their fundraising, but this time the effort has had to go online rather than take place in the local community.

The Shannonbridge Carol Singers fundraiser for Offaly Hospice is fast approaching €1,000 in donations, and they say all contributions will make a big difference to the vital work of the local Hospice Foundation.

The video was shot at the Old Fortifications in Shannonbridge.
