Retirement units project earmarked for Kinnitty

What's described as 18 retirement units have been signalled for Kinnitty in a newly published planning notice.

Ronan Garry has indicated his intention to apply for planning approval for the development earmarked for Ballincur, close to the picturesque village known for the nearby Slieve Bloom mountains.

It would comprise of a total of 18 single-storey retirement units, divided up into six one-bed units and twelve two-bed units.

A site entrance, site works and services also form part of the plans.

The applicant must formally lodge plans for the project within 14 days of publishing the planning notice.
