Popular duo to livestream concert from Ballinasloe

Music fans are in for a treat this Thursday night, April 22, when Davy Carton of the Saw Doctors and Ultan Conlon come together for an intimate, live-streamed concert from Seomra Eile at Ballinasloe Town Hall Theatre, Galway.

Singer, songwriter, rhythm guitarist and Tuam man Carton is best known as a core member of the iconic Saw Doctors, the band he co-founded with Leo Moran in 1987.

Often compared to Roy Orbison, Conlon, from Loughrea, has released four studio albums and his songs can be heard regularly on RTE Radio 1 and Lyric FM.

Seomra Eile at Ballinasloe Town Hall Theatre is a concept alternative space within the theatre aimed to cater for live streamed music and chat events during the lockdown, based in a room to the rear of the venue.

Tickets are now on sale for the online concert, which takes place at 9pm, this Thursday, April 22.
