Ambulance crew assaulted in Tullamore today

Gardai from Tullamore and Portlaoise were called to the scene of a violent assault on two ambulance personnel at a house in Tullamore earlier today, June 16.

The Gardai arrested a violent and intoxicated male at the scene, following the assault on two ambulance personnel who had responded to an incident at the house.

Gardai have said a court appearance will follow.
