Local insurance firm acquired by Arachas
Local insurance firm Gorman Hooper Dolan Insurances has been acquired by leading broker Arachas.
The company, which has offices in Tullamore and Birr, says they will join a growing national and international network where both new and existing customers will have access to more insurance products and even more expertise. It has 12 Offaly-based employees.
Arachas, the Irish for insurance, today announced that it has reached agreement recently to acquire Gorman Hooper Dolan Insurance, in a move that will extend its national presence into the Midlands. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and all employees will be integrated into the Arachas business over the coming months.
Gorman Hooper Dolan has offices in Birr and Tullamore and is a leading provider of general insurance products and advises both local business and consumers throughout Ireland.

As part of the Hooper Dolan Group who has been operating in Ireland for over 40 years, Gorman Hooper Dolan commenced in 2017 with the acquisition of Fleury Insurances in Birr.
