LOETB partners with Google on free training event

Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board are partnering with Google Digital Garage at their brand new Further Education and Training Centre, LOETB Birr, Townsend Street, to offer a free training event. Wednesday, October 20, from 9.30am until 1.30pm, covering three key areas:

How to Start an Online Shop, How to Drive Online Sales and How to Build a Website for your Business.

Eileen Kenna Quinn, Centre Manager at LOETB Birr said “We are building strong ties in the local community by offering a number of new business, retail and marketing courses in our Centre this year. We are now delighted to partner with a global organisation, Google, who are at the forefront of digital marketing to offer this free event our students and the local community.”

The event is aimed at anyone interested in learning about selling online, driving their online sales, or learning how to build a website for their business . Eileen added: "We will be running the event in multiple rooms in the centre to ensure Covid 19 regulations are adhered to, this will give participants peace of mind while offering networking opportunities for our students and the community."
