O'Connor Square in Tullamore will play host to the two-day event.

‘Tullamore This Christmas’ event this weekend

The 'Tullamore This Christmas' event takes the festive spirits to the streets of the county town this Saturday and Sunday, November 20 and 21 and on December 11.

Commencing at 11am each day, there will be outdoor markets, street theatre, live music, local choirs and much more to entertain all ages and help everyone get into the festive atmosphere.

Unfortunately due to the increase of Covid 19 cases, the switching on of the Christmas Lights and Santa’s arrival on Sunday must change for the safety of all the boys and girls and their families. Santa has agreed to meet the boys and girls throughout the two-day event in O’Connor Square! And who knows where our special guest Dustin the Turkey will appear, so be sure to keep an eye on social media for more updates.

Come into Tullamore this weekend and enjoy the fun and get the first hour FREE for all on-street and Council car parks. Tullamore’s community relies on people like you to support local business.

Please remember to respect physical distancing guidelines for your safety and the safety of all this Christmas.

This event is funded by the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme Phase 2, Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and supported by Offaly County Council, Tullamore and District Chamber and Tullamore Lights.
