Spartacus boxers shine at Leinster Championships

Four young boxers from the Spartacus Boxing Club in Tullamore took part in the recent Leinster Championships in Athy, with two progressing to the All-Ireland Championships.

The successful boxers who will now represent Spartacus at All-Ireland level are Joe Joyce (65kg) and JJ Gallagher (74kg), while Eridas Kuzmenko (44.5kg) was very unlucky to lose out in a tightly-contested Final.

Mikey Kavanagh, Eridas Kuzmenko, JJ Gallagher and Joe Joyce from Spartacus Boxing Club in Tullamore, all of whom took part in the Leinster Championships in Athy.

The fourth boxer from the Tullamore Club to travel to Athy was Mikey Kavanagh (50kg) who reached the semi-final of the Leinsters.
