Offaly contestants' dance partners revealed as Dancing with the Stars returns

There will be strong Offaly interest in the fifth series of RTE's Dancing with the Stars, which gets underway this Sunday night and features two contestants from the county.

Tullamore rugby player Jordan Conroy and Edenderry comedian Neil Delamere are among those who will be donning their dancing shoes - and their dance pairings have now been revealed.

Jordan will be partnered with new pro dancer Salome Chachua.

The pair will be hoping that the Ireland Rugby Sevens star's positive and hardworking attitude, combined with Salome's wealth of experience from the Dancing with the Stars in Georgia, will lead them to the grand final.

Neil Delamere, meanwhile, has been matched with returning pro dancer Kylee Vincent, who had been teamed with Fr Ray Kelly on the last series of the show.

Other participants on the new series include jockey Nina Carberry, Love Island's Matthew MacNabb, Billy McGuinness of the band Aslan, author Cathy Kelly, swimmer Ellen Keane, and broadcasters Aengus Mac Grainna and Gráinne Seoige.

* The series gets underway this Sunday night at 6.30 pm on RTÉ One.
