Delamere cha-cha-chas out of the show

Comedian Neil Delamere tonight became the second celebrity to be sent home from series five of Dancing with the Stars.

Neil had danced a cha-cha-cha, and scored 18 points from the judges, but even when pooled with the public vote, it wasn’t enough for Neil and partner Kylee Vincent to continue on their dancing journey as movie week came to a close.

Eleven celebrities took to the floor for week four of Dancing with the Stars, and the took viewers through a variety of dance styles performed to well-known movie tracks from down through the years.

The show was presented by Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne, judges Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond, and Arthur Gourlinian scored the performances.

Neil and Kylee performed a cha-cha-cha to the classic Ghostbusters theme.

Arthur said: “That was so much fun!”

Brian said: “Well there’s one thing strange in this neighbourhood, and it’s that hip action. A little bit more subtlety and you probably would be there.”

Loraine said: “I like it. You put yourself into it.”

Neil and Kylee scored 18 points from the judges.

Tonight’s guest performance was a showcase of Cinderella from The Irish National Youth Ballet.
