Cocaine worth €20k seized

Cocaine worth approximately €20,000 has been seized in Tullamore town.

A post on the Garda Síochána Laois Offaly Facebook page confirmed that the discovery was made by gardaí on patrol who saw an occupant of a car acting suspiciously in a car park recently.

"Subsequent search resulted in approximately €20,000 of cocaine being seized. Person charged and before the courts," the post added.
