Local cafe to open second premises in Clara

Kafe U based in Athlone will soon open a second location in Clara.

The new café is due to open in May and Kafe U have said they are excited to open a brand new second Kafe U in Clara.

Ballycumber based couple Ken Robinson and Ultan Keena own and run the café together. Mr Robinson said, “We are very excited about bringing Kafe U to Clara as we believe there is a huge opening for one in Clara with a very big local footfall. You can enjoy all the same delights of Athlone in Clara as normal.”

“We opened Kafe U in Athlone six years ago and always wanted to expand and an opening came up in Clara and after the two years we all have had we said life is too short. In Athlone we believe in fresh homemade products and we are known for the best breakfast in Athlone among our customers. We are opening on Wednesday, May 4 at 9am.”
