Daniel O'Donnell set to perform afternoon concert at Dublin cathedral

Join Daniel O’Donnell with his six piece band and long term vocalist Trionagh Allen for an inspirational afternoon of music next month.

This one-off concert in the stunning setting of Dublin’s Pro Cathedral will feature special guest and MC Linda Martin and Sean Gilligan’s Halleluia Gospel Choir, on Monday, June 6.

Commencing at 3pm, proceeds from the musical afternoon will raise much needed funds for two very worthy causes, The Peter McVerry Trust, and Dog’s Aid Animal Sanctuary.

It is almost three years since Daniel last performed a live concert in Ireland, he has spent the last few months on and off in studio recording his new album set for release later this year so tickets are likely to be at a premium.

Daniel will also perform a second concert later this year on July 29 at St Crona’s Church, Dunloe, with proceeds of the musical evening to raise much needed funds for ‘Pauric’s Journey for continued cancer treatment in America’.

Pauric first got sick in September 2020 at the age of 19. He underwent major surgery and has since spent the past 18 months travelling between Donegal and Dublin for treatment.

Pauric has never once complained even though the treatment is very tough and has taken a major toll on the young man. He has now been given the opportunity to further his treatment in America which will give him the best chance going forward.

The local community are rallying around to help and support Pauric and his family in their journey ahead and have set up a gofundme page to help. Daniel has pledged the proceeds of this very special concert to fund Pauric’s treatment.
