Local company shortlisted for Export Industry Award

Tullamore based software company Dotser has been shortlisted in the Irish Exporters Association Export Industry Awards.

The ecommerce company is shortlisted for the category of High Potential Exporter Award. This award identifies an early stage exporting company which has surpassed its potential and is demonstrating success and commitment in one or more markets.

2022 sees the 20th year of the Export Industry Awards which recognises the tremendous achievements of companies working in the industry.

CEO and Founder, Loughnan Hooper commented saying:

“The Dotser team has worked hard to overcome many of the challenges faced by many businesses over the last number of years and it is very heartening for our work to be recognised by the Irish Exporters Association.

“We set out with a plan to develop our software solutions to be a recognised leader in various industry sectors in Ireland and this gave us a firm foundation to explore the export market.

“Being a technology company with inhouse expertise in software product development, project management, digital marketing, and tech support gives us full control over the solutions we deliver.

As an initial startup business we availed of the support of the Local Enterprise Office and last year we transitioned to Enterprise Ireland who have supported us develop the export side of our business.”

The awards ceremony will take place at a black-tie Export Industry Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner in the Mansion House on September 30th.

Dotser was founded in Tullamore in 2000 and employs 14 staff from its Axis Business Park headquarters with out-reach presences in Dublin, London and Sydney.
