Details of Offaly v Westmeath clash confirmed

Offaly's Tailteann Cup semi-final with neighbours Westmeath will be the second game of a double header at Croke Park on Sunday week, June 19.

The Offaly v Westmeath clash, with a place in the inaugural Tailteann Cup final at stake, will commence at 4pm and will be shown live on RTE.

It will be the first Croke Park meeting between Westmeath and Offaly since 2006, when the Faithful men came out on top in a Leinster football championship game.

The other semi-final between Tailteann Cup favourites Cavan and Sligo has been slated for a 1.45pm start on Sunday week at Croke Park. Extra-time will be played in the event of either match finishing in a draw.

Offaly were easy winners over New York in their quarter-final on Saturday (3-17 to 0-11), with their goals coming from Keith O'Neill, Anton Sullivan and substitute Cathal Flynn.

Jack Bryant, one of the stars in Offaly's march to All-Ireland U-20 success last year, chipped in with two points (see below for teams and scorers).

For their part, Westmeath had five points to spare away to Carlow yesterday (Sunday).

The details of this weekend's All-Ireland SFC qualifiers have also been revealed, with Croke Park hosting a double header on Saturday (Roscommon v Clare, 3.45pm; and Kildare v Mayo, 6pm). Both of those games will be shown on Sky Sports.

On Sunday, Cork will host Limerick in Páirc Ui Chaoimh due to a home and away arrangement between the counties, while Clones will be the venue for the rematch between Armagh and Donegal.

Meanwhile, Bord na Móna O'Connor Park will host two All-Ireland MFC quarter-finals next Sunday, June 12.
