National enterprise success for Offaly company

An Offaly-based company which specialises in solving acoustic issues using an engineering approach has won the Best Start-Up Award at this year’s National Enterprise Awards.

Acoustic Interiors, which is the brainchild of Derek McCreanor and David Fitzgerald, was presented with its award by Minister for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English, at a prize giving ceremony in the Mansion House in Dublin last weekend.

Acoustic Interiors adopts an engineering approach to solving a wide range of acoustic issues.

The company combines its technical expertise and construction abilities to provide tailored solutions to noise problems and offers a full turnkey solution, including investigation, consulting, design, build/fit-out, test and sign-off.

Offaly County Council and Offaly Local Enterprise Board warmly congratulated the company on their win with Orla Martin, Head of Enterprise Offaly describing Acoustic Interiors as “a success story.”

She added that Enterprise Offaly is “delighted to support such an exciting and dynamic company.”
