Volunteer Kevin honoured at weekend's Mountlucas parkrun

One of the volunteers who helps ensure the smooth running of the weekly parkrun at Mountlucas Wind farm, outside Daingean, was honoured for his contribution to the event last weekend.

Kevin Curran recently celebrated his 100th time to volunteer at Mountlucas and was presented with a cake baked specially to celebrate the milestone.

Blustery but dry running conditions greeted the participants in the parkrun last weekend.

The event welcomed seven visitors from Russborough Parkrun, who thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Mountlucas.
