Five people charged following assault in Tullamore
Three males and two females have been charged following the assault of a man in the Arden View estate in Tullamore last Wednesday, July 6.
The three men, aged in their 20s and late teens, and two women, who are in their 20s and 40s, will appear before Portlaoise District Court this afternoon, Tuesday, July 12.
A man in his 40s, who was injured in the incident, was brought to the Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore for treatment of his injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
Earlier, Gardaí in Tullamore appealed for witnesses to the incident or anyone with video footage to get in touch.
