Local siblings raise money for Barnardos in Edenderry

Brother and sister Amie and Shaun Leijen, have raised €1,900 to help children in the local community.

The pair raised the money for the Barnardos Edenderry Centre.

The pair did so by growing and then cutting their hair for the Rapunzel Foundation while also raising money for children’s charity in the town.

Barnardos are so grateful to the Leijens for their huge efforts and generosity which will help local children.

The local brother and sister recently presented the funds to Carol Faulkner and Claire Feeney, who are both Project Workers in Edenderry.
