Local legal firm in running for three gongs at Irish Law Awards

A prominent local legal firm has been named as a finalist in three categories at the upcoming Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards 2022.

Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP Solicitors, based in Mardyke Street, Athlone, is among the Leinster finalists in the running for Law Firm of the Year, while they are also celebrating getting the nod in the Personal Injury Medical Negligence Law Firm/Team/Lawyer of the Year category and they are among the Leinster finalists in the running for the Property Law Firm/Team/Lawyer of the Year Award.

Established in Athlone back in 1992, Byrne Carolan Cunningham LLP Solicitors grown in the intervening years to become one of the region's most prominent law firms, with offices in Dublin city, Moate, Lanesboro in Longford and Galway city.

Celebrating their tenth year, The Irish Law Awards are delighted to have Dye & Durham on board as the headline sponsor for the annual event. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner hosted by former Minister and TV/radio personality Ivan Yates, on Friday, October 28 in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.

With over 400 entries for this year's awards, the competition for the Irish Law Awards 2022 was stronger than ever. After intense deliberation from the judges, over 180 companies have made it as finalists with a possibility of winning an award this year.

New categories such as Banking & Finance Legal Team/Lawyer of the Year, Pharma/Life Science Law Firm/Lawyer of the Year, and ADR Firm Team/Lawyer of the Year (sponsored by Ormond Meeting Rooms) have been introduced to this year's event and have proven to be highly competitive.
