Hugh Lynch’s Canal Quarter Festival to return this weekend
The annual Canal Quarter festival will take place in Tullamore this weekend.
On Thursday, Irish rebel music band the Wolfe Tones will take to the stage in Hugh Lynch's bar with support from country music singer Alex Roe.
This Friday, popular comedy act The Two Johnnies will perform in the bar along with folk band The Dooley Brothers.
Then, on Saturday, trad band Ruaile Buaile and Smash Hits, a tribute to the early 90s dance, pop and R'n'B will both play the festival.
Finally, on Sunday Folk/Rock band The Whistlin' Donkeys, band Super Bass and The Buckleys will close out the annual festival.
A wood fired pizza truck will also be on hand serving up authentic Italian wood fired pizza.
