Acclaimed Irish film to be shown in Moate

Tuar Ard will screen the critically acclaimed film 'Róise & Frank' on Tuesday, November 1st as part of their Autumn Movie Nights series.

In this warm-hearted, witty and uplifting Irish-language comedy, Bríd Ní Neachtain stars as the recently widowed Róise, who believes that a mysterious stray dog that shows up at her door embodies the spirit of her late husband Frank.

Isolated since his death two years ago, the appearance of the dog companion helps Róise overcome her grief. Unfortunately, her cruel neighbour Donncha has some sinister plans for the doggo.

The screening starts at 8pm and will be followed by a 20-minute recorded Q&A with the film’s directors.
