Lisa's Lust List creator backs festive fundraiser

Lisa McGowan of Lisa’s Lust List fame is giving people the chance to win one of five €1,000 cheques this Christmas, all in a bid to raise much needed funds for the children and families Barnardos works with over the festive season.

The Tullamore-based influencer, who boasts over 161,000 followers on Instagram and another 217,000 on Facebook, is backing a new raffle in aid of Barnardos.

Within just 48 hours of the details being announced the raffle total hit over €85,000, it now stands at an amazing €107, 270.

The children’s charity provides practical and emotional support to more than 16,800 children and parents across Ireland each year..

“For me I have such great memories from Christmas - it was presents, fun, laughter, excitement and love. I do one charity raffle every year and this year I have picked children’s charity Barnardos. I’m so happy to be help to raise money and awareness for Barnardos and the work they do," Lisa McGowan said.

"Since the raffle went live, I’ve been reading messages from so many who have used Barnardos services and I've been blown away. Barnardos are doing phenomenal work out there, I’m so delighted so many have gotten behind me. I want to keep it going and for the raffle to do well. I really want more children to feel the magic of Christmas – every child deserves to feel that. If you can give even €5, I’m asking people to donate and to help wrap up some happiness and smiles.”

Tickets range from €5 for one ticket to €100 for 60 tickets.

Barnardos CEO Suzanne Connolly thanked Lisa for selecting Barnardos to benefit from her annual Christmas Online Raffle.
