Kinnitty Castle nominated for two prestigious wedding awards

One of Ireland's premier wedding venues – Kinnitty Castle Hotel – has been nominated for two prestigious awards in the annual SaveMyDay.ie 2022 wedding awards.

The Offaly venue has been nominated in two categories, including Ireland's Best Castle Wedding Venue and Ireland's Best Luxury Wedding Venue.

In the Best Castle wedding venue, Kinnitty Castle is facing competition from three other castles, Clontarf Castle, Kilronan Castle and Cabra Castle while four other venues have been nominated alongside Kinnitty Castle for the Best Luxury Wedding Venue award, namely, The Dylan Hotel and No. 25. Fitzwilliam Place, both of which are in Dublin; Ballyseede Castle Hotel in Kerry and Fernhill House Hotel & Gardens in Cork.

A total of 47 wedding venues from 19 counties have been nominated in this year's awards, with Shell Holden, co-owner of SaveMyDay.ie saying it showcases “the wonderful range of wedding venues on offer across the country to cater for all couples and their preferred styles.”

This year's winners will be selected by a panel of SaveMyDay.ie judges, and a full list of winners in all categories will be announced next month.
